ROSETTE

A rosette is a decorative circular carving often used on fluted fillers to add an elegant touch to finished cabinetry. Typically resembling a flower, the rosette is carved onto a separate piece of wood to prevent any errors from damaging the surrounding cabinetry. Rosettes can be found on bookcases, entertainment centers, and kitchen cabinets. They can be ordered from manufacturers or crafted by the carpenter.
