MOLDING
Molding, also known as trim, is a decorative strip made of materials such as wood, MDF or other materials, which is used to cover the transition between different surfaces or to enhance the aesthetic appeal of a room. Chair rails are used on walls to protect them from damage caused by furniture, while also providing a visual boundary between different wall colors or wallpaper designs. Crown molding is a decorative trim that is installed where the ceiling and walls meet, adding elegance and visual interest to a room. Baseboards are installed at the bottom of walls to protect them from scratches and dings caused by furniture or foot traffic. Molding is also used around doors and windows to conceal gaps and enhance the overall appearance. Molding comes in a variety of styles, from simple and clean-lined to highly detailed and ornate.
