DRAIN BOARD

A drainer, also known as a drain board, is a mat placed adjacent to the kitchen sink to facilitate the drying of dishes. Its design enables water from the dishes to flow into the sink as it dries. The drain board has an angled base that guides water toward the drain and prevents it from accumulating, which could cause bacterial growth.
