SCRIBE MOLDING

Scribe molding is a wooden strip that is utilized to conceal gaps or irregularities between cabinets and walls or ceilings, resulting in a polished appearance for the cabinets. The piece of wood is straight on one end, which is placed against the wall, and curved on the other end to fit the cabinet. Scribe molding is a cost-effective alternative to other types of trim like crown or dentil molding, and it provides a straightforward yet refined look to the finished product. The wooden strip is easily attached to the cabinet units with staples or small nails. Although scribe molding is frequently utilized in new constructions, it is also an excellent solution for masking imperfections in the walls or ceilings of older buildings.
