CABINET CLAMP

To hold pieces of wood together as they are being secured, cabinet clamps are utilized. These clamps are frequently employed by cabinet makers when building and installing cabinets. Cabinet clamps allow professionals to have both hands free, holding the wood securely in place while measuring and securing it. Rubber cushions on the clamps protect the wood’s finish from marring or damage. These clamps are also adjustable to fit the wood’s size being used. They can be widened to hold two cabinets together during installation or shortened to apply trim or veneers. Quality cabinet clamps often have fine and coarse adjustments for a more precise hold. Cabinetmakers use these clamps during installation of center stiles or when applying trim. For most jobs, a minimum of two cabinet clamps is necessary, but at least four are needed for many projects to ensure that the wood is properly secured.
