BIRCH WOOD

Birch wood, known for its delicate grain, is a lightweight material commonly employed in constructing furniture, cabinetry, and hardwood flooring. Its elegant grain pattern and hue make it a preferred choice as a veneer.

Yellow birch and white birch are the two primary birch types available. Both have a light coloration blending gold and white tones. Birch is relatively inexpensive compared to other types of wood. However, it may bend as it dries. Once it undergoes complete treatment, it becomes highly robust and long-lasting. Birch wood is remarkably easy to stain and finish, and its grain pattern is often compared to that of maple. Unlike maple, birch is more pliable, takes stain easily, and is less challenging to work with. Plywood manufacturers often use birch because of its durability and affordable cost. Additionally, it is a preferred veneer for cabinets and flooring.
